MODERN FINNISH POSTER

The exhibition „Modern Finnish Poster“ under the aegis of Haapsalu Graphic Design Festival presents a review of the contemporary Finnish poster. There are 88 pieces from 31 authors in the collection. The exhibition gives an overview of the current status of Finnish poster.
Among the artists represented are master designers such as Tapani Aartomaa, Erik Bruun, Jukka Veistola and Kari Piippo, Pekka Loiri, Hilppa Hyrkäse who have brought the Finnish poster school to international attention. The exhibition was composed in cooperation with Estonian Graphic Designers Association, Finnish Institute and Lahti Poster Museum. Supported by Cultural Endowment of Estonia.
